Ranthambore Fort

This majestic fort is the landmark of Ranthambore National Park which is situated about 5 km inside the wildlife reserve. This famous fort is recognized by UNESCO World Heritage Site that places it under the title ‘Hill Forts of Rajasthan’. The Ranthambore  Fort is one of the major attractions in Ranthambore National Park. This fort served as a royal hunting ground and had a sprawling jungle around it.

Padam Lake

The largest lake in this wildlife reserve and is the main source of drinking water for wild animals. Early morning is the best time of the day to visit the beautiful lake when large no. of animals is seen drinking water from here. It got its name- Padam which literally means flower. The lake looks more beautiful during the seasonal time of water lilies. One can also spot the Chinkara deer here as well.

Kachida Valley

Tourists can take a direct taxi or bus from Sanganer Airport to reach Ranthambore directly.

By Road: To reach your favorite destination, you can hire taxis or cabs from Sawai Madhopur. A no. of buses run from Sawai Madhopur  and the park is situated just a distance of 11 km away.

By Rail: Located at a distance of 10 km from the park, the nearest railway station that connects Ranthambore National Park to other important cities is Sawai Madhopur Railway Station.

By Air: Nearest airport to Ranthambore National Park is Jaipur. One can easily hire cabs or avail bus services to reach the park.
