Reasons that Make Ranthambore Safari Tour Special

Several reasons make this 3 days Ranthambore Wildlife Tour a mesmerizing experience for people seeking adventure in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Let’s have a look at the reasons that make it special.

History of Ranthambore

This national park was named after the Ranthambore Fort which is still present in the jungles of this park. People say that many royal kings used to come here for hunting purposes. In 1955, the restrictions were imposed and commercial activities were banned after witnessing the loss of forest cover and wildlife species. But the commercial activities still did not stop.

Therefore, the government took this matter into its own hands in 1973 and officially named the place as the Ranthambore National Park.

Flora of Ranthambore National Park

During the Ranthambore Safari Tour, one will get to witness the stunning lush greenery all around the jungles. Nature lovers will be awestruck looking at the mesmerizing views of their surroundings. Due to very little rainfall, more than 300 species of vegetation are still dry. Dhok also known as Anogeissus Pendula is the plant that covers the major portion of this national park. People can find fruit-bearing trees such as Imli, jamun, mango, etc.

Fauna of Ranthambore National Park

Fauna is the primary reason why people visit this popular national park. The apex creature of this national park is the Royal Bengal Tiger. It is very rare and pure luck if one gets to have sight of the Royal Bengal tiger on the way. However, other species like cats, leopards, crocodiles, jackals, hyenas, and pythons can be seen here.

Other attractive migratory birds such as Bronze-winged jacana, sandpiper, and kingfisher can be seen here easily.

People can also seek blessings at the Ganesh temple which is still present inside the Ranthambore Fort. Apart from this, other nearby miraculous Hindu and Jain temples are widely visited by all the people who come here for the safari tour. These temples have different vibes and auras that bring a sense of peace and calmness as soon as you enter the place.
