This tour of Rajasthan including almost all the destinations of Rajasthan and you will have a very compertable tour with sufficient free time to explore each city and also enough time to relax. Bird Watching, Wildlife and tiger viewing is an important and most exciting part of this tour. Than leisurely you will drive to Udaipur via Kota, Bundi and Chittaurgarh. After a romantic stay of 2 nights in Udaipur you will stay again for 2 nights in Kumbhalgarh which is an interesting experience. Just one night in Mt. Abu will be different experience after Kumbhalgarh. Now slowly you move to Jodhpur, Jaisalmer and Bikaner deserts and enjoy camel safari in Jaisalmer. See colourful painted walls in Mandawa and than to Jaipur - the capital city of Rajasthan and enjoy Elephant Safari like a Maharaja.

DETAILED ITINERARY

DAY 01  ARRIVE DELHI
Arr: Delhi                By Air
Traditional welcome with garlands at the Indira Gandhi International Airport and transfer to hotel.
Overnight stay at hotel.

DAY 02  DELHI
Full day sightseeing tour of New Delhi and Old Delhi. Visit: Qutab Minar, Lotus Temple, Humayun's Tomb, Indira Gandhi Museum, President House, Parliament House, India Gate and Laxmi Narayan Temple in New Delhi. Visit: Red Fort, Jama Masjid and Raj Ghat in Old Delhi. Evening witness live show of Indian Folk Dances. Overnight stay at hotel.

DAY 03 DELHI/AGRA (200 kms/4 hrs. drive)                                                              (Taj Closed on Fridays)
Morning drive straight to the Mughal City Agra.

En-route visit Sikandra - tomb of Akbar the great.

Afternoon visit Agra Fort and Taj Mahal. Stay in Taj till sunset. Evening free and overnight at hotel.
 
DAY 04 AGRA/BHARATPUR (55 kms/1 hr. drive)
Drive to Bharatpur.

En-route visit Fatehpur Sikri.

Afternoon excursion to Deeg. Evening visit Bird Sanctuary with Government approved Rickshaw Wallah. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 05 BHARATPUR/RANTHAMBHOR                By Train
Early morning visit Keoladeo Ghana National Park. Rest of the day free.
Afternoon transfer to Railway Station to connect train.

DAY 06 RANTHAMBHOR
Early morning Jeep Safari. We travel to the inner parts of the famed National Park to see the majestic tiger among other wild animals. Return to hotel for breakfast. Later visit: The Fort - this imposing fort is perched atop a hill at an altitude of over 200 mtr amidst a dense forest. Afternoon again drive by jeep to the National Park.

DAY 07 RANTHAMBHOR/KOTA             By Train
Morning Jeep Safari. Rest of the day free. Evening transfer to Railway Station to connect train for Kota.

DAY 08  KOTA
Morning half day sightseeing tour of Kota. Kota is a fascinating mixture of medieval grandeur and modern industrialization. Visit: Chambal Garden, Maharao Madho Singh Museum, Jag Mandir, Haveli of Devtaji and Kota Barrage. Rest of the day free and overnight stay at hotel.

DAY 09 KOTA/BUNDI (38 kms/1 hr. drive)
We start out early in the morning to Jhalawar and visit the Jhalarapatan Sun Temple and Gagron Fort. We travel back through Darrah wild life sanctuary & also go to see the Bhensrorgarh fort and Baroli temple ruins. By the night we reach the medieval city Bundi and check in.

DAY 10BUNDI/CHITTAURGARH (140 kms/3 hrs. drive)
We keep morning hours for visiting various attractions at Bundi along with the Palaces famed for its murals.

While driving to Chittaurgarh we travel through the ancient temples of Bijoliyan and Menal.

DAY 11  CHITTAURGARH/UDAIPUR (116 kms/2 hrs. drive)
We take a half day sight seeing tour of various attractions of Chittaurgarh and then move out to Udaipur.

DAY 12 UDAIPUR
Morning excursion trip to Eklingi & Nagda. Later visit Sahelion-ki-Bari, City Palace and Jagdish Temple. At sunset we take a romantic boat ride over the Lake Pichhola and visit Jag Mandir. Dinner in elegant Lake Palace- an experience of the lifetime.

DAY 13 UDAIPUR/KUMBHALGARH (85 kms/2 hrs. drive)
Drive to Kumbhalgarh.

Afternoon visit Tribal Villages and Ranakpur Temples. Evening free and overnight at hotel.

DAY 14 KUMBHALGARH
Morning enjoy sight seeing tour on a horse safari. Also visit the wild life sanctuary.
 
DAY 15KUMBHALGARH/MOUNT ABU (250 kms/6 hrs. drive)
Drive to Mt. Abu.

DAY 16  MT. ABU/JODHPUR (265 kms/6 hrs. drive)

Direct transfer to hotel. Afternoon visit the Majestic Meharangarh Fort, Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jaswant Thada and the Clock Tower. Optional dinner at Umaid Bhawan Palace.

DAY 17 JODHPUR
From the morning we set out to the Bishnoi’s villages to experience their extraordinary life style in the harsh conditions. We also have lunch in one of the Bishnoi houses. We take an excursion to the ancient town of Osiyan where we find some of the most exquisitely carved temples of eighth century. Back at Jodhpur we keep the evening free for shopping.

DAY 18  JODHPUR/JAISALMER (290 kms/6 hrs. drive)
Drive straight to Jaisalmer.

Direct transfer to hotel. Keep the day at leisure. Evening visit the abandoned haunting village of Kuldhera and enjoy camel ride and golden sand dunes of the Sam.

DAY 19 JAISALMER
Morning visit the fort with its temples & palaces, the Havelis, the amazing maze of lanes and by lanes, Gadsisar tank, Bada Bagh and Vyas Chhattries.

DAY 20 JAISALMER/BIKANER (330 kms/7 hrs. drive)

Drive through the Kheechan village and spend some time there with migratory cranes. Visit the Junagarh Fort and the Karnimata Temple at Deshnok. Also visit camel breeding farm in the evening.

DAY 21 BIKANER/MANDAWA (190 kms/4 hrs. drive)

Drive through the Tal Chhaper Deer Sanctuary and finally reach this cute little town Mandawa.

Afternoon walk in the town and survey some of beautiful frescoes and the Havelis.

DAY 22                MANDAWA
Today visit some of the most famous frescoes in Havelis of Dundlod, Laxmangarh, Nawalgarh and Mukundgarh.

DAY 23                MANDAWA/JAIPUR (165 kms/4 hrs. drive)
Morning drive to Jaipur.

We reach the Pinkcity by noon. Afternoon visit  the modern attractions of the city - Birla Temple and the central museum. Late in the evening we go out for Rajasthani dinner, folk music and dance at ethnic village.

DAY 24  JAIPUR
Morning excursion trip to Ambar Fort. En-route see Pink City and stop at Hawa Mahal - palace of wind for photography. Enjoy elephant ride to ascend the hill top fort. Later visit the most romantic Nahargarh Fort with spectacular view of Jaipur City. Spend rest of the day in bazaars and the monuments in the Pinkcity.

DAY 25 JAIPUR
Morning visit City Palace and Royal Observatory. Afternoon we go out on excursion to the Sanganer Town to witness the household work of famous handmade textiles and paper. Overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 26                JAIPUR/DELHI (260 kms/6 hrs. drive)
Morning drive to Delhi.
