1. City Palace

A popular tourist place in Jaipur, the City Palace is famous for its absolute blend of rich Rajasthani with Mughal architecture.

Intricately designed peacock gates are one of its kinds and the palace has vast courtyards, gardens, a museum, an art gallery and a fascinating display of royal costumes and old weapons of the mighty rulers/kings.

Visiting Timings: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

Entrance Ticket: INR 500 for foreigners, INR 190 for Indians

2. Hawa Mahal

Built by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in the year 1799, it is the most recognizable monument of Jaipur. This stunning 5-storeyed semi-octagonal monument having 152 windows is a fine piece example of Rajputana architecture.

Visiting Timings: 9:00 am – 4:30 pm

Entrance Ticket: INR 200 for Foreigners & INR 50 for Indians

3. Jantar Mantar Observatory

Visiting Timings: 9:00 am – 4:30 pm. Open from Monday to Friday.

4. Achrol Fort

The fort is located at the outskirts of Jaipur. Apart from trekking, one can even get indulged in rappelling during the morning hours while absorbing the wonderful nature.

5. Jal Mahal

Located in the middle of Lake Man Sagar, this is one of the best places to see in Jaipur. This 5-storeyed palace has its 4 storeys under the surface of water that offers a unique underwater viewing experience.

Clearwater of the lake and scenic views of the surrounding Aravalli make the palace look absolutely stunning, especially at night.

NOTE: One cannot go inside the fort.

6. Sambhar Lake

Sambhar is located near Jaipur which is known for its lake, known by the same name. Sambhar Lake is a vast saline water body which is considered to be the largest saltwater lake in India.

7. Chokhi Dhani

8. Albert Hall Museum

Commonly called as Albert Hall, a Government Central Museum is among the famous places to see in Jaipur.

This is also home to one of the six ‘Egyptian Mummies in India’ that has brought huge international acclaim to this museum. It was built in the commemoration of the visit of Prince Albert.

9. Amber Fort, Jaipur

Built by a trusted general of Akbar, Maan Singh in the 16th century, this fort is now called as the Amer Fort and the city is called as Jaipur. Amer fort or Amber Fort is located a little away from the main city of Jaipur. It forms an important tourist destination in Jaipur.

Visiting Timings: 10:00 am – 5: 00 pm daily.

Entrance Ticket: 550/person for foreigners & Rs 100 for Indians
