DETAILED ITINERARY

GOLDEN TRIANGLE 5 Nights/6 Days

Day 01 DELHI
Traditional welcome with garlands at the Indira Gandhi Airport and transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 02 DELHI / AGRA (200 kms / 4 hrs. drive)
Morning half day city tour of New Delhi. Visit: Qutab Minar, Lotus Temple, Humayun Tomb, Indira Gandhi Museum, President House, Parliament House, India Gate and Birla Temple. You may stop for lunch. After lunch drive to Agra. Direct transfer to hotel. Evening free and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 03 AGRA / JAIPUR (230 kms / 6 hrs. drive)
(TAJ CLOSED ON FRIDAYS)
Early morning visit Taj Mahal and stay there till sunrise. (optional) Return to hotel for breakfast.

Continue sightseeing tour and visit: Agra Fort - (includes Pearl Mosque, the hall of public and private audience). Afternoon drive to Jaipur. En-route visit Fatehpur Sikri - also known as Ghost City.

You may stop in some small villages along the national highway. (optional)
Direct transfer to hotel. Evening enjoy Rajasthani Folk Dances and Dinner. (optional)

Day 04 JAIPUR
Morning excursion trip to Amber Fort. En-route you can see Pink City and stop at Hawa Mahal for photography. Also stop to take photographs of Jal Mahal. Enjoy elephant ride to ascend the hill top fort. Afternoon visit City Palace and Royal Observatory. Evening free for shopping OR individual activities.
Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 05 JAIPUR / DELHI (260 kms / 6 hrs. drive)
(Red Fort & Museums closed on Mondays)
Morning drive to Delhi. Direct transfer to hotel. Afternoon half day sightseeing tour of Old Delhi. Visit: Red Fort, Jama Masjid and Raj Ghat - the cremation place of Mahatma Gandhi. Evening enjoy live show "Dances of India" OR "Sound & Light Show" at Red Fort. (optional)

Day 06 DEPART DELHI
Morning visit National Museum - permanent display: pre-history and Indus Valley Civilization; Archaeology; Buddhist Art; Manuscripts; Indian Miniatures etc. (optional)
