   GOA

Sun, Sand, Surf and Socegado

This is the Goa that everyone has heard of. A 100 km coastline studded with some of the world's most beautiful beaches. The world "leisure' could well have been coined here, but would be a poor substitute for the Goan Socegado. Anyone who has been to Goa will understand the futility of trying to translate the word.

Swim in the placid waters of the Arabian Sea, or just wade in as far as you choose.
Curl up with a book in the shade of a parasol.
Stretch out in the glow of a gentle sun.
Grab a bite at one of the many beach restaurants that dot the resorts.
Tramp through the sands in the afterglow of a fiery sunset. Or come back dark with friends to sit around at bonfire. And watch the stars go by.
